Winegrowers Supplies - Disgorging, dosing and topping up of Sparkling Wine

Manual disgorging: to safely, quickly and precisely carry out the delicate operation of disgorging bottles of Sparkling Wine:-

on a stand which is adjustable for height, 600 Euros

or the unit without stand, 500 Euros

It's a simple machine, the procedure is:-
- put the bottle top with crown cap just inside the unit
- lever the bottle down gently
- the crown cap is removed and the frozen neck plug is ejected safely from the bottle, due to the pressure inside the bottle
- the crown cap and frozen plug are routed around the wide 90° bend, then downwards into a bucket or other container (not included with the unit).

Topping up is done immediately afterwards, with some of the Sparkling Wine 'dosage' mixture.

Semi-manual unit:-

              EN model: 2587 Euros

Semi-automatic unit:-

        ATLAS M: 6743 Euros

for disgorging, dosing and topping up, at an output of about 150 bottles/hour.

with automatic dosing of the 'liqueur d'expédition';
a three-way valve with an automated system performs the operation of inserting, loading and unloading of the liqueur in the bottle in a completely automatic way.

For glass bottles, height 230 to 380 mm, diameter 70 to 113 mm.

Stainless steel frame, with floor stand.
- pneumatic bottle-lift, requires a compressed air supply of 34 litres/hour.
- stainless steel tank for the liqueur d'expédition.
- no electric power needed.

Dimensions 50 x 90 x 158 cm, weighs 70 kilos.

Option: holding support for a different bottle size, 224 Euros

Delivery time: 60 days from the date of order.

- Disgorging: manual removal of the crown cap and evacuation of the frozen neck-plug (the neck of the bottle has to be frozen previously).

- Dosing of the 'liqueur d'expédition': the machine has a small stainless steel tank for holding/dosing the 'liqueur d'expédition'; the bottle lays on a 60° inclined base-plate. The support is designed for standard 75 cl bottles, but it is adaptable for 150 cl bottles with a simple change-over. It has a fitting for the compressed air and pressure gauge. There is a three-way valve, for the dosing of the 'liqueur d'expédition' into the bottle. The valve automatically sucks the 'liqueur' from the storage tank and transfers it to the filling nozzle.

- Topping up: after the dosing operation, a small quantity of the wine is added, to achieve the correct level inside the bottle.
A support base-plate, holding a bottle with wine in an upside-down position, is used to supply the wine needed for the topping (wine levelling).

Fully Automatic Monobloc for de-capping, disgorging, dosing and topping up, at a consistent output (depending on the temperature of the wine).

                Barida Poker 400: 400 bottles/hour, 33,000 Euros

  or the Barida Poker 700: 700 bottles/hour, 46,900 Euros

Designed to be installed in line for fully automatic operation.
Using a rotary star-wheel system. Speed control by inverter. Movement is intermittent by a maltese cross system.
The bottles are transported from the conveyor belt by the star-wheel and positioned in the neck gripper.
The gripper is integral with the carousel but can rotate freely on its transverse axis.

The single rotary turret performs all the operations of de-capping, disgorging, dosing and topping up, during one rotation. During the rotation, it upturns the bottle by around 65° and then it removes the crown cap. The bottle without the cap remains slanted and is closed in order to limit the quantity of wine coming out. Following the dosing, the topping up is made when the bottle is again in a vertical position.

On the disgorging unit there is a detector for the possible presence of a cap.
Adjustment of disgorging, dosing and topping up levels is simple.

The ejection of caps and sediment is through a stainless steel tube into a stainless steel tray inside the machine. The tray is easily removed for emptying/cleaning.
The bottle is then transported by star-wheel back to the conveyor belt.

Base-frame made of heavy steel supports, totally covered by AISI 304 stainless steel plates.
All components which may get in contact with the product or with water are made in stainless steel.
