Small kegs (5 litres) can be filled on a CP bottle filler, but for large kegs (10 to 50 litres) a separate dedicated keg filler is necessary.
The beer will already be stored under pressure, so there is no need for a pump.

For washing and filling of kegs (only up to 30 litres) by an automatic system with manual positioning of the keg.

Equipped with 3 tanks (AISI 304 stainless steel) for containment of the washing solutions, one of these (caustic solution) is electrically heated and insulated.
The tanks have level control devices for the automatic loading of water and machine stop in case of solution absence.

Safety device for starting of the washing cycle only with the keg on the machine and correctly positioned, device for the stopping of the machine in case of lack of air or CO2.

Selector for the choice of the program: 1 = washing,  2 = washing and filling.

Selector for the choice of the time of washing in comparison to the kegs capacity.

Device for the control of the final loading CO2 pressure (adjustable min. 0.7 Bar, max 2.5 Bar).

The machine performs a multi-stage cleansing of the keg - all controlled by electronic circuit, the operator simply loads and unloads the keg:-

1. discharge with sterile air,
2. pre-wash with water,
3. emptying with sterile air,
4. washing with alkaline detergent solution, re-cycling solution,
5. rinsing with water,
6. washing with acid solution and re-cycling solution,
7. rinsing with water,
8. emptying with nitrogen,
9. steaming (max 120 C) for perfect sterilisation,
10. emptying with nitrogen,
11. pressurising with nitrogen,
12. filling,
13. washing the keg's mouth..
