20 x 20 cm Kompakt Mini: with 10 plates

20 x 20 cm Kompakt: professional models. The frame is very strong, there are brass bearings and an excellent stainless steel by-pass regulator on the pump
with stainless steel ¾" bsp female hose-tail-connectors for 20 mm internal diameter hose. It's only available with the pump fitted:-

The plates included in the above prices are white polypropylene, which are for filtering any drink containing alcohol up to over 40 %vol but they must not be steam sterilised.
Noryl plates, which can be steam sterilised, are available (as an alternative) at an additional cost of £5.80 per plate.
         Note: Noryl has addition of polystyrene to PPE, which increases the 'glass transition temperature' above 100 °C.
         For filtering 80% alcohol only stainless steel plates are suitable; polypropylene (Moplen) or Noryl would not last long.

Optional 'changeover/crossover' plates for double filtration (coarse and sterile filtration in one pass): £167.00
that's 2 Noryl end plates and one stainless steel centre plate.

Note: the silicone-rubber seals supplied with the filters are 2 mm thick for the end-plates and 4 or 5 mm thick for the intermediate plates.

Replacement seals: for end-plates £1.89 each, for intermediate plates £2.39 each.

Maximum throughput per filter sheet used: coarse up to 25 to 30 litres/hour, sterile up to 15 litres/hour.

Cordenons filter sheets are printed on the coarse side. Seitz and Beco filter sheets are printed on the smooth side.
