DIN (Deutsches Institute für Normung): there are hundreds of different DIN specifications, the one used in the 'drinks' industry is DIN 405/11851,
often referred to just as DN or NW.

Stainless steel flap-valves with sealing cap: also known as ZLK, Zapflochklappe. The bore is 37 mm diameter:-
Gr.37/70 flap-valve with sealing cap, 80 Euros
or longer Gr.37/100 flap-valve with sealing cap, 130 Euros
Racking-pipe +butterfly-valve for use through Gr.37/70 flap-valves, ending in DIN40 male thread, 280 Euros
or for use through Gr.37/70 flap-valves, ending in DIN50 male thread, 280 Euros
You need only one of these, to use through the flap-valve fitted to each tank, simply pushing it in when you need to rack. When you've racked off all the liquid down to this level,
just below the man-way door, you open the man-way and hold the racking pipe by hand to suck out the remainder of the clear liquid.
Decanter arm: rotatable racking pipe, for fitting on a DIN40 or DIN50 tank racking outlet:
DIN40 260 Euros, DIN50 270 Euros
It fits directly on and through the tank racking outlet, then a butterfly-valve or ball-valve is fitted outside it.
Hence, a decanter arm cannot be removed from a full tank. It can be unscrewed and removed from an empty tank and then inserted in another empty tank;
consequently each tank needs to have it's own decanter arm installed, if one is required.

BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads can be parallel or tapered. Tapered threads are for permanent connection only and are considered 'not hygienic'. Parallel threads are hygenic, threads must be sealed with ptfe tape for permanent connection (for example valves), or will be fitted with a rubber seal if the fittings are to be removed regularly (for example hose-connectors).

Tri-clamp fittings originated in USA (hence are in inches not metric) and are used increasingly in breweries in UK.
They are termed 'hygenic' or 'sanitary' fittings, as they easy to dismantle for cleaning.
A special gasket-seal fits between the ferrule flanges. A clamp then tightens them together.
Tri-clamp size is specified by the outside diameter (od) of the tube, not the diameter of the ferrule flange.
For smaller od tubes, (½" and ¾") and (1" and 1½"), the flange sizes are the same for each pair.
This makes it simple to connect from one of these diameter tubes the other; however, the larger size gasket-seal must always be used.

RJT (Rubber Joint Thread), sometimes known British Standard Milk thread. Still used widely in breweries.
The union consists of a hexagon nut in AISI-304 stainless steel, a weld-male-thread part and a
pressed liner both in AISI-316; the liner is pressed from 1.5 mm thick sheet.
A pressed blank cap can be used, in place of the normal liner, to make a blank-off fitting.
The rubber joint ring is an "O" type (6.6 mm diameter) and is normally made of Nitrile rubber.
