Belt Presses:- by continuous pressing these save a huge amount of manual work in comparison with Pack Presses.

The cleaning unit installed on these Voran single belt presses sprays high pressure water on to the belt. This unit uses a lot of electrical power and water, and it is very noisy.
If pressing stored apples or apples which are not easy to press, it is important to have the optional special cleaning brush installed; with the cleaning brush operating it is possible to switch off the high pressure washer.
If the apples are very old it is sometimes very helpful to have both cleaning systems running all the time.

      Height of loading on to the belt 1290 mm. Height of pommace ejector 780 mm.
      Weighs 550 kilos. 1820 mm long x 1090 mm wide x 1290 mm high.
      380 volt, 0.75 kWatt for the main motor and 0.37 kWatt for the washing motor.

  Voran EBP500: 34,630 Euros + delivery at cost.
      Throughput 700 kilos/hour, nominal, on fresh apples it can work at 900 kilos/hour.
      The belt is 500 mm wide x 6500 mm long; 300 mm working width. Belt speed 1.2 to 2.4 metres/min, contact time 0.3 to 1.5 minutes.
      Height of loading on to the belt 1300 mm. Height of pommace ejector 540 mm.
      Weighs 520 kilos. 1860 mm long x 1130 mm wide x 1300 mm high.
      380 volt, 0.75 kWatt for the main motor and 0.12 kWatt for the washing motor.

      The belt is 1200 mm wide x 9950 mm long; 900 mm working width.
      Belt speed: 0.5 to 3.5 metres/minute (adjustable). Contact time: 2 to 11 minutes.       Conveyor height 0 to 65 mm (adjustable), loading height 1690 mm.
      3035 mm long x 2100 mm wide x 1690 mm high. Weighs 2500 kilos.

      380 volt, 2.2 kWatt for the main motor and 0.37 kWatt for the washing motor.
      With high-pressure-washer 8.4 kWatt (water consumption 6 litres/min)

It is also recommended to buy:-
1 or 2 spare special bearings, 90 Euros each; a bearing will be needed sooner or later, so it’s good to have a spare.
A belt regulation valve, 210 Euros; the belt regulation valves now installed are much better than those used some years ago.
The belt regulation valve commands the roller forward and backwards to keep the belt running in the centre of the press.

Conveyors for transporting spent pommace:-

To remove the spent pommace that is output from a belt press, a conveyor belt system can be configured according to the length and height it has to be transported to.

For example a straight belt 400 mm wide x 4 metres long, 5760 Euros.
