Hydraulic Pack Presses: juice yield up to 75%.

     Note: the Voran 50P1 (50 litre, 150 kilos/hour, 4030 Euros) is too expensive for it's size, it's much better to use a water pressure press.

     Voran 100P1: 5,120 Euros + delivery to you (640 Euros).

    Throughput up to 300 kilos/hour.
    Single bed press, complete with ten 50 cm x 50 cm acacia wood racks and nine 80 cm x 80 cm press-cloths.

     Height of juice outlet 470 mm, connection for juice outlet 30 mm diameter.
     Press force 24 tonnes, pressure 380 bar.

    Throughput up to 600 kilos/hour.
    Twin sliding bed press allowing a second 'cheese' to be made while the first is pressing.
    Complete with twenty 50 cm x 50 cm acacia wood racks and eighteen 80 cm x 80 cm press-cloths.
     295 kilos, 2080 mm long x 1030 mm wide x 1450 mm high, 1.5 kWatt 380 Volt motor.
     Height of juice outlet 420 mm, connection for juice outlet 30 mm diameter.
     Press force 24 tonnes, pressure 380 bar.

Voran pack presses are available with a 230 Volt (single-phase) motor, 290 Euros extra, and there is a longer order time (about 4 weeks).
The alternative, if you do not have a 380 Volt (3-phase) electricity supply is a: 230 Volt to 380 Volt inverter.

If you do not have enough space available to operate the sliding bed press, then there is an alternative:-

Voran 100P2-D: 7,288 Euros + delivery to you (780 Euros).

    Throughput up to 600 kilos/hour.
    Twin rotary bed press allowing a second 'cheese' to be made while the first is pressing.
    Complete with twenty 50 cm x 50 cm acacia wood racks and eighteen 80 cm x 80 cm press-cloths.
     295 kilos, 2080 mm long x 1030 mm wide x 1450 mm high, 1.5 kWatt 380 Volt motor.
     Height of juice outlet 400 mm, connection for juice outlet 30 mm diameter.
     Press force 24 tonnes, pressure 380 bar.

Voran 180P2-D: 18,640 Euros + delivery to you (920 Euros).

    Throughput up to 1200 kilos/hour.
    A much larger Twin rotary bed press allowing a second 'cheese' to be made while the first is pressing.
    Complete with twenty four 65 cm x 65 cm acacia wood racks and twenty two 100 cm x 100 cm press-cloths.
     820 kilos, 2300 mm long x 840 mm wide x 1850 mm high, 1.5 kWatt 380 Volt motor.

For 180P2-D: optional hydraulic lifting/lowering device 7,500 Euros extra.

    The optional hydraulic lifting/lowering device is used to lift up the bed while you are starting to pack the first layers.
    If you are using a WALC, opening the dosing device on the Mill allows the pommace to fall down on to the bed.
    If the apples are very juicy the juice will spray everywhere when it falls from a height.
    With the hydraulic lift/lower device you lift up the bed very close to the outlet of the Mill, to prevent the spraying.

Some advice on using Voran Pack presses:

If a lot of apple 'puree' gets squeezed through the press-cloths, then make thinner layers of pommace for each rack and make more racks, to fill the press as high as possible, or put a piece of wood above to make more pressure. If you need to work in that way every pressing then you should buy 3 or 4 extra racks and press-cloths.
